Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/area of residence at 0600hrs and drive to the Nairobi National Park. This park is famously known as ‘The World’s only Wildlife Capital’, a home to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
This is later followed by a visit to the Giraffe Center, home of the Rothschild Giraffe. You will learn about conservation efforts and get to feed the giraffes. Later, you will head to the David Sheldrick (Elephant Orphanage), a haven & rehabilitation center for rescued orphan elephant calves, with an adoption program (opens 11 a.m. -12 p.m.). Here you will learn about the conservation efforts to protect the endangered elephants. Later you will proceed to Karen for lunch at (12:30-13:30) and later head for a tour at the Kazuri Beads Factory and learn how beads are made out of clay. Drop off at your hotel after the tour.
